The Childminder
My name is Jade Da Silva. I am a qualified Childminder with a level 3 award in home based childcare and a paediatric first aid certificate. I have worked with children for 7 years. This experience has given me a wide range of knowledge and a passion to help children develop and grow.
I live with my Husband and daughter who was born in 2015. We have been living in Stevenage since 2013 and have grown to love the town and the people in it.
The Setting
I live in a spacious 2 bedroom flat with a communal garden. The children will be able to use one bedroom for quiet time and naps.
The living room will be used for a playroom and activities.This will be where learning and activities will take place. Baking and cookery will be done in the kitchen.
I Live opposite Hampson Park so children will have easy access to the park, play centre and community centre where play groups are held. I also live a 5 minute walk away from St Nicholas and Martin woods children centre where children can enjoy playgroups and age appropriate activities.
